La Muralla Roja, meaning "The Red Wall" in Spanish, is a striking postmodern apartment complex in Calpe, Spain, designed by the legendary architect Ricardo Bofill and completed in 1973. This series pays homage to his visionary work. My approach to capturing architectural surfaces is rooted in a visual language reminiscent of painterly abstraction. By carefully controlling depth of field, contrast, and shadows, I create compositions that emphasize form and texture. Drawing inspiration from the crisp clarity of modernist paintings, I strive to transform photographs into bold, color-driven compositions that highlight the interplay of light, material, and geometry.
